A Sign you are Really Broke
- You are glad that you bank at PNC Bank because they allow you to go to the ATM and take out money in $1 increments (at least in my state). It’s great. It sucks when you have $9.00 in your account and can’t take anything out. Don’t judge (I’ve been there), a $1 is a $1 and it all spends the same. 
No one wants to take that long walk of shame and go inside and see the teller with a slip asking to take such a measly sum out. Even worse, drain your account for less than $10. Honestly, no one wants to go to the teller and say, “I would like to withdraw $3 please.” WTF?! Broke bastard! I know I would probably feel pity for the person. I would think they are trying to scrounge up the rest of their money for gas or food from the dollar menu. I have a jacked up way of thinking…. At least with this ATM broke people can have some dignity. I no longer have my paychecks going there because they were up to shenanigans but my business account is still there. Their ATM policy is the only good thing I have to say about them.
