Conflicted
Ever wanted something because you needed it but not because you really wanted it? That’s how I feel about this new job I just interviewed for. On one hand, I am running out of time and should welcome any new job opportunities that come my way. On the other hand, I know the job will be a pain in the ass and a lot of work on my part. If I get the job it will be an increase in pay but much more work is involved. I’m conflicted.
Everyone wants something but doesn’t realize that more issues can come along with that wish. A luxury vehicle – more expensive to buy, own (insurance rates), and maintain. More money – got to work on keeping it. There are many others in this list but you get the point. I should be hearing something back by next week and if I don’t, then I guess the job wasn’t meant for me and that’s ok. I will keep on rolling and apply elsewhere.
